The Audience of Volunteers
For several years now we've held an evening event to say 'Thank You' to all the people who volunteer in any way to keep Dymock Church going. (Return to top)

Some 60 people gathered in the church on the evening of Friday 10th May to mill together in the north transept to share a glass of wine and 'nibbles' before sitting in the pews to listen to a concert of light songs given by our augmented senior and junior choirs and Daisy Kennedy (aged 11) who sang as a solo - 'Peace Song'.

The evening ended with the combined choir singing a song with lyrics written by our organist and choir master, Bob May, that referred to many of the tasks the volunteers had undertaken during the year, referring to the various tasks the audience represented

Gloucester Diocese, of which Dymock Church is a part, has a five-year vision called LIFE standing for Leadership, Imagination, Faith and Engagement. Kathryn Warner is the diocesan lead person for the vision so on May 4th she was our guest at our bi-monthly Breakfast.
